NASA has released a series of new satellite tv information visualizations that display ten million fireplace recognized worldwide from room since 2002. The visualizations display fireplace findings made by the MODerate Resolution Image Spectroradiometer, or MODIS, devices built in NASA's Terra and Water satellite.
NASA keeps a comprehensive investigation method using satellite, aircraft and ground resources to observe and evaluate fireplace worldwide. The investigation helps people recognize how fireplace affects our environment on local, regional and international scales.
"What you see here is a very good representation of the satellite tv information people use to recognize the international syndication of fireplace and to determine where and how fireplace syndication is responding to coffee and population growth," said Bob Justice of the University of Md, College Park, a scientist who leads NASA's effort to use MODIS information to analysis the fireplace.
One of the new visualizations takes people on a read international trip of fireplace recognized between May 2002 and May 2011. The fireplace information is combined with satellite tv views of plants and snow cover to exhibit how fireplace relate to seasons changes. The Terra and Water satellite were launched in 1999 and 2002, respectively.
