Brazil's push to grow structure in the Amazon region will need at least 212 Brazil reals ($120 billion) in public and private area investment decision by 2020, reviews Folha de Sao Paulo.
Dozens of large-scale plans — such as dams, high-speed track, streets, power indication systems, mines, and business plants — are designed or already in success in the nine states that make up the "Legal Amazon" in South america. By 2020, the management goals to more than increase the Amazon's share of power generation to 23 % of national result, up from 10 % today. The target signifies 45 % of designed energy growth during the period.
According to Folha de Sao Paulo, the Growth Speed Plan (PAC) will likely need decline of established public and environment laws and regulations, possibly antagonizing environmentalists.
"To increase the rendering of plans, the management is considering a line of appropriate changes," reviews the paper. "Among them are expressly giving of environment permit, the design of laws and regulations that allow exploration on own areas, and changing the system of management of green secured regions."
"The advance on the Amazon creates debate among environmentalists, who accuse the management of saying a model of not sustainable growth... that results in public fall."
Brazilian companies also have desires in the Amazon. com outside of South america. Oil and gas growth, dam plans, gold mines, business farming, and streets are major regions of investment decision for Brazil companies in border countries, such as Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, and Suriname.
