The United States reached 10 gigawatts of total installed solar panels last summer and at the end of 2013 slightly in the figure (official numbers have not release), China has also been very productive in 2013 related to solar panels. Base on source, China has put between 9.5 and 12 gigawatts of solar panels during the year 2013 alone (not the cumulative number). It is more than ever installed by any country in a single year, and it is also more than the cumulative total of all previous years in China! It was truly remarkable, and it's just the beginning: China plans to install 14 gigawatts in 2014.
