Industrial Countries As Major Contributor for GHG

A study conducted in 100 cities in 33 countries stated that North America is a contributor to greenhouse gas emissions in the world, while South Asia's most produce less greenhouse gases cause climate change. The report says that the production of greenhouse gases per resident in the cities of industrial countries by an average of 15 to 30 tons per year.

'The people of the cities in South Asia generally only produce 0.5 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions a year, "said Daniel Hoornweg, Chief Specialist of Urban Population and Climate Change World Bank, as reported by Reuters and the Green Radio.

Hoornweg asserted, lifestyles and consumption patterns is a major factor in the production of greenhouse gases.
