Directorate General of Customs and Excise with the Ministry of Environment (MOE) seized scrap (steel scrap) of 113 containers measuring 20 feet. Irons are thought to contain B3 waste (toxic and hazardous materials) are imported by PT HHS through the port of Tanjung Priok.
According Sudaryono, Deputy Planning Environmental Law at The Ministry of Environment (MOE) irons were taken directly by importers of the existing landfills in the United Kingdom and the Netherlands without cleaned.

Sudaryono also added, on the iron it contained many impurities, such as land, oil, rust, plastic, asphalt and other debris. According to the rules, imports of scrap metal must be cleaned first, and only brought the metal or iron. "If this name has been abusing the existing permits," he said.
