Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli said China's carbon emissions which is the highest in the world - will be deployed as soon as possible.
US President Barack Obama said that climate change is happening faster than trying to address them, and the US and China have a responsibility to lead other countries.
The summit is the biggest climate meeting since 2009.

UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, aims to encourage the 120 member states to sign a new global deal on climate change at a meeting in Paris next year.
When closing the summit, Ban said "never before have so many leaders gathered to commit to climate change action".
Earlier, the UN has warned that the impact of climate change is causing problems such as rising sea levels, the risk of major flooding and reduces production.
Zhang said China would address emissions or decrease the "as soon as possible".
"As the country has a great responsibility, a great developing country, China will make great efforts to address climate change and take on international responsibilities commensurate with national conditions and capabilities today," said Zhang.
"The whole country should follow the stub of green and low-carbon development in accordance with their national conditions (and) sets the action after 2020."
The correspondent said China's commitment is the first time presented to reduce carbon emissions.
